OUR STORY
The Backyard Greenhouse, is owned and operated by the Swensen family. Amy moved to the area in 1990 when she married Bill, who was born and raised in the Crosby area. Amy operates the greenhouse, and has one of the biggest green thumbs around. Their three children help run the business and you’ll often see Gigi, their faithful golden retriever greeting guests.

GREENHOUSE
We have five greenhouses packed full of the best quality plants around. We carry Proven Winners, Wave, and many other brands. We offer a big selection of vegetables, herbs, vines, hanging baskets, fillers, spillers, and thrillers. Our plants are bee and butterfly friendly. We don’t use neonicotinoids in our production. We also carry a variety of non-GMO garden seed.
